I have fallen and I can get up.
Do you remember that commercial on T.V with the slogan saying I have fallen and I can't get up?
Well, that's how it feels when we take a physical fall or make a mistake in front of a large crowd.
Get up and shake it off? or lay there in pain.
I have fallen down many times in life. in sports, dancing or running. I would check my limbs to see if anything was broken then struggle back to my feet until the pain would subside for me to go on. when presenting a speech or announcement it is required that you stick to the topic you are speaking on. I can remember a time when I gave a speech in class and I froze right in the middle of it. my mind was too focused on remembering the content and I forgot only one word to where I completely lost my place. mentally I fell down. I couldn't move I couldn't talk and the embarrassment was starting to take over. Right there
I said to myself get up and continue. I found my bearings and completed the speech. I surely thought I had failed that day. when to my surprise I received a B from the class instructor. That goes to show when you fall others will admire the spirit in you to rise.
Do not look at how great the fall was.
In a fall ego and pride can get in the way to the point to where we don't ask for help.
this is when a defeatism attitude takes hold of us and keeps us stuck in mind and spirit.
always be willing to rise no matter how hard the fall. Say to yourself I have fallen and I can get up!!

Falling is a bit like failure. Those who never fall or fail never try anything different and therefore fall or fail all their lives. Keep getting up because each fall or failure eliminates what doesn't work and brings you closer to what does andeventual success!
All the best Reggievan.

Hay nicebiz how are you I am sorry I have not kept in touch lately
I am still pushing on my site. And thanks for that supportive reply.
Great post with some great advice! We have all fallen but it is wonderful that you are willing to share and offer such wonderful encouragement!
Thanks for your words of wisdom. I too have fallen down (financially) and have now gotten up. I cannot quit now because I've come too far regarding setting up my website through WA.
Good, sound advice that can only be spoken by someone with the wisdom to back it up.
I just went through a period like this a few days ago, where I just wanted to stop doing everything, including my blog. I'm back on track though. I had plenty of people here telling me to push through it and keep going. I told everyone how I felt, and they responded with words of kindness that put me back on the road I need to be on.
You have to speak up and ask for help. Pride is like a wall. It keeps people out and keeps you boxed in.
Wow kinya! I am sitting here reading your reply and I Am blown away how we as people connect through our individual struggles.I am sorry to get back with you late . And God
bless you.

Reggie, WA are some of the best cheerleaders at picking you up when you are down or have fallen that I know of. We all have had out struggles and have made it through. You are a warrior, that does not quit. I applaud you for that. Great post.
