An internal shared journal of my experiences with wealthy Affiliate
I just wanted to say a few words about how Wealthy Affiliate has changed my life.
Like many Americans, I was raised in a household that believed in going to work. From my mother and father to the extensions of both sides my familyIt has always been mandatory that you held down a job.
I started working at twelve years of age. Selling candy door to door.I mention this because it's where I come from.
Before Coming to Wealthy Affiliate making money online and building websites were totally foreign to me. and as far as computer skills I had none I mean zero folks.
I was introduced to Wealthy Affiliate through a different Website.Just fresh out of plumbing school and in need of work desperately.
I gave W.A a try starting with the free membership. I was hooked instantly on how I was treated throughout the community.
Wishing me the best in my new ventures helping me to hold my head up when things got crazy or out of control.
Someone was always there to help. When I started my premium membershipI got heavily Involved with the training pecking away on the keyboards of my new Chrome book.
The first three months in the program I didn't know much at all and I was frustrated most of the time, but I hung in there in started my first website.
But let's keep it real .
With the limited skills, I had especially in internet marketing money became funny.
So I had to leave for a minute to get my finances together.
while I was away I experienced a large void in my life that I didn't want to admit to myself or anyone else.
I missed the W.A Community....... Now, I said it and it's out in the open.I left as an unfinished product. I had to complete the training and
finish what I started.
I know Wealthy Affiliate is about making money successfully online. But what has always stuck with me is when kyle wrote :( That success does not always come in the form of money,
but by how, you have achieved your goals)I am referring to financial and nonfinancial goals in the getting started section.
My first goal was to make it back to Wealthy Affiliate even if I had to start all over again on a different website. When I completed that goal I felt a great accomplishment in doing what I said I would do.
In the process of leaving, I told a lot of my friend's and followers I would be back and I am glad I kept my word.
The first thing I noticed was how the system was improved. Kyle stated that there would be new and improved features in navigating through the system and also new changes in word press before I left six months ago. I was totally surprised to see how well the improvements were .
I Never met Kyle or Carson personally. and I don't know If they had a guy like me in mind when they created this program. One thing I do Know is that my typing skills are now at twenty words a minute
when it used to be five.I have an understanding of content writing.
I Know the meaning of (SEO) search engine optimization,
and so on and so on.
But most of all I know I have a community of friends that's interested in seeing me through the rough periods and watching me succeed.
Writing blogs on my profile eight months ago helped me with setting up a resume to get the nine to five I have today. Now the plan is to make money online doing what I love.A year ago I was nowhere near where I am at today.
