One Step at a Time
I am currently on Level 3 of my certification training and I felt exhausted physically and mentally.
I do the tasks on each lesson and work on my website from 9AM to 2PM (sometimes until 5PM) seven days a week. I am really happy to have written 22 articles (12 were Goggle Indexed) in one month.
But I've noticed that I'm beginning to lose my motivation and felt drained as the days pass by.
Then I realized that I am doing it the wrong way. I SHOULD enjoy what I am doing instead of pushing myself to accomplish lots of things in a day.
Sure, I am learning tons and improving my website each day but it was no longer fun for me.
Yesterday I didn't do much and decided to take my son to his swimming class and watched on Netflix... I NEED A BREATHER.
I guess I got so excited and eager to learn something new each day... But I can only do so much in a day, a week or a month.
I'm gonna slow down and just enjoy each day one step at a time. 😊

Just remember it's not a race. Take one step at a time. Now put your feet up and watch some netflix.
Hi Ruth, you have made a lot of progress in the short time you have been here. Be proud of your accomplishments.
It is important to take a breather every once in awhile.

Thank you, Michael. I need to remind myself not to be frustrated when I feel stuck or to slow down once in a while.

Thank you, Jeff. I am always delighted by the kind and helpful words that this community are sending me, just like you do.

You're doing a very good job, but don't forget to take your time. We are here to make it happen by having fun without burning our wings by doing more than our mind can handle. It's completely normal to feel a little overwhelmed so take the time to take a deep breath and get back to work when your mind has regained some strength.
