So, I decided to go on a hiatus for a few days to give myself a break from my daily routine of training and writing of articles for my website.
I was really happy that I did it so I could refocus on my goals. I didn't intend to be a slacker or to procrastinate, I just needed to "breathe" for a while.
Yesterday I tried to log in to my WA account using the link I always click. To my surprise, a warning popped out that says "SOMEONE IS TRYING TO LOG IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT TO STEAL YOUR BLAH, BLAH, BLAH."
OMG!!! Is this for real?! Immediately, I clicked on another available WA link and changed my password into a more complicated one (fingers crossed).

I am not ready and will never be ready to lose everything I worked on for almost two months now. I know that my few articles are nothing compared to most of our brilliant members here, but I spent plenty of hours and sleepless nights to come up with ideas (including searching for low - hanging fruit keywords) I could write about.
Lots of things are sacrificed for the sake of building my first website. It pains me sometimes, when I think of all the things I should be doing instead of continuing my certification training and writing blogs.
Our family's beloved Christmas Tree, for instance, was not set up yet. It should be up as early as September as part of our family's tradition. But because I was way too pre - occupied with all the things I need and have to do, I didn't bother to take it out from the box, just yet.
There were invitations that I've turned down because I can't afford to lose another day without writing something for my website. I wasn't aware that spending little time here at Wealthy Affiliate would affect tremendously anyone's ranking.
Until the days I was on a break, logged in and "VOILA!" my rank plummeted by 4000!!! No regrets though... It was my decision to slow down so I wouldn’t end up feeling burnt out and give up on my goals.
Would I slow down again if I feel exhausted in the coming days or weeks? YES!!!
Of course, I'll be a hypocrite if I say I don't mind if my rank goes down, but like a roller coaster ride, it's so much more thrilling as it goes up and down in circles until it stops at its terminal, which is secure and steady.
Just like most of the blogs I've read, as well as the advice from the wise members of WA, no matter what, I have to keep on writing. It's OK to stop for a moment and give myself a break, but I must never be too complacent about my achievements.
