We recently built our first niche site here less than a month ago and targeted the key word "adult dog training tips" and have been checking google to see we got indexed. But forgot all about checking other search engines.
When we checked today Google did not even have us on the radar - no worries we are new, but both Bing & Yahoo had us first page 2nd and 7th. We were blown away! Now we took the advice from WA and went for the low hanging fruit keyword with limited traffic and its working! ;-)

Great news. Just as you sign for Google Webmaster, do the same for Bing as they get your updated sitemap and stuff, makes for quicker indexing a crawling
most people get so caught up with the google and forget about other search engines, which maybe drive less traffic but in most cases it is a quality traffic, Congratulations on being on the first page of Bing, you will climb up with google also.
