As I’m learning, I’m sharing, so I’m grateful to share through this medium for the benefit of many people who can find encouragement, support, gain new insights, and/or positive thoughts. I listen to, read, and view as much positive coaching material as I can because I intend to improve my life and help as many other people as possible enhance their lives along my journey.

Listening, to what I believe was powerful coaching, I was reminded of how important it is to acknowledge your speech pattern. You want to be sure to empower yourself and not to become disempowered by your own words from your own mouth. For example: Don’t refer to yourself as “I always” this or that or “I never” this or that (negatively). Rather say something like, “I’ve had problems in the past; however, I… (believe, or I’m positive that if…, I can…)” this or that.

Further, remove the words can’t and won’t from your vocabulary as much as possible. Reason: You want to pour into yourself more positivity and block and/or remove any negativity. Instead of using these words, you want to focus on what you CAN do. What can you do now? Give your brain the chance to get to work to find solutions by being careful with your language. Example: “I know what I’m going to do…” Your brain will cooperate with you and get to work. I believe this to be true because as I’m writing this, I am reminded of when my husband, who is not a mechanic and who dislikes working on cars, became angry at the cost of a repair which he had no foreknowledge of how to repair, yet he proclaimed, “I know what I’m going to do. I am going to fix this myself.” He asked questions. His brain obviously cooperated with his proclamation, and to our surprise, (miraculously to us) he fixed it! Wow!

Another point that I find to be relevant is to not take other peoples negativity personally. Someone else’s negativity has nothing to do with you! The actress, Whoopi Goldberg has a philosophy to ‘Be true to yourself’. She believes that each decision we make moves us a little further in life – forward, or backward if we get stuck on someone else’s principles. So like Shakespeare wrote: “To thine own self be true.” Therefore, purpose to move your life forward.

One more value nugget that I received is not to hold onto past mistakes. You must accept that you’re human; forgive yourself; learn SOMETHING from the mistake or it will be repeated; allow yourself to make new mistakes/to fail/to grow/to live! Embrace your mistake (There is no lasting success without failure.), expect yourself to make a mistake that you will learn from, gain strength from, and overcome.

Lastly: focus on the obvious; concentrate on the obvious; be grateful for the obvious. Be Positive!

If you have questions or want to know anything specific, or you wish to make a comment, or you simply wish to connect with me, email me at RCHelping people@yahoo.com. Read and follow my daily blog. I’ll be sharing some great, positive, and motivating quotes and thoughts. I’ll continue to share the many things I learn so that you and I can grow together. I am here to serve.

Have a peaceful, positive, and productive day!

Thank you for the giving post. Anthony Robbins has often said people are motivated by pain or pleasure. The carrot or the stick. Most people in life major in minor things, don't be one of them :)

You're welcome! I always want to share and spread positive energy that will cause people to think and/or to remember, that will encourage and influence to take positive action. I love your 'Likeworking' name! To your success!
