Never Give Up
When things go wrong
as they sometimes will
and the road you are trudging
seems all up hill
and the funds are low
and the debts are high
and you would love to smile
and you can only sigh
when care is pressing down on you a bit
rest if you must but never quit.
life is strange with its twist and turns
as everyone of us sometimes learn
many a looser turns about
when he may have won
had he stuck it out
so keep up the race
when the pace seems slow
you may succeed with
one more blow
success is failure turned inside out
the silver lining of the cloud of doubt
you never can tell how
close you are it may be near
when it seems afar.

Thank you for sharing this one size fits all poem. No one is exempt from struggles. Sometimes we need to be reminded that with a willingness to dust ourselves off and keep pushing forward we can rise above and persevere. That's the beauty of a strong faith and the kindness of others.
