Like many of you I spend hours on my laptop computer.
Aside from Wealthy Affiliates I am addicted to Facebook, answering email and writing commercial real estate appraisals.
A while back I spent several weeks in the hospital and subsequent rehabilitation. Being the workaholic that I am I had my soul mate (wife of 63 years) bring my laptop to the hospital. I had a case of fungal meningitis and had to pretty much stay in bed.

To work on the laptop I had to use the adjustable table that fits over the bed with the legs underneath the bed frame. With the head of the bed raised I could work on my computer when I was not trying to learn how to walk again. The lasting effects of meningitis has been the loss of my balance. I now have to use a walker – that is another story.
After getting out of the hospital the laptop became my computer of choice. At first I simply used it as a laptop and sit in my recliner. However, I have two fur babies and they insisted on sleeping beside me on the recliner. That interfered with a flash drive I sometimes use.
To solve that problem I bought one of the hospital tables from Amazon. Now as I sit in the chair I can pull the table up to a comfortable position for typing. And my little dogs can lay against my leg, one on each side.
The only thing you need to be sure of Is that the frame of the hospital table has enough clearance to fit under the chair frame. This setup has a side benefit that it can serve as a serving table for refreshment or dinner by simply pushing the laptop out of the way.
