How can I Succeed with my niche?
So, I am getting up to my 6 month mark with WA, and am building out my site within my niche. I am still excited about the whole process but am starting to wonder if I am using the best keywords. I say this because I do not seem to be getting a lot of traffic to my site.
I have followed the lessons in each course thoroughly and am currently on course 4 lesson 7 (I had a bit of a break in December which slowed my progress a little).
I would love to get some ideas from the WA community as to how I can move forward with greater speed. I am connected to Google+,Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter, and have already had some great tips so far (Gaylene). However, maybe I am being a little impatient but I did want to be seeing more traffic by this point.
My question is, how is everyone else here at WA succeeding with their particular niche when I do not seem to be making headway very quickly at all?
Any tips and feedback would be Amazing!!!

Roselle, what kind of traffic are you getting per day? Is it direct traffic or organic search traffic?
I do not think I am getting any traffic really. It is all organic. It's all a bit confusing really, I look on analytics but cannot get my head round it. There must be something I can do. I've been working through the steps to make my site as appealing as possible but maybe I should be promoting WA now and building another site for this?

Are you posting every new page & post on the Comments thread: "Need Comments? The Give and Take Thread"? This gives every new page and post a chance to get traffic and hopefully, keep rolling. I just had an old friend from FB find it, after I created a business page on FB. I boldly invited my old friends, but am looking for and joining groups in my niche. There is a lot of FB training with new training ongoing almost daily, at least weekly. Paul Goodwin is the instructor. Follow him, after searching his name in our top search bar.
I am now getting more traffic, since this friend on FB is forwarding the site, apparently! Another WA member promised to give information to his co-workers. Not sure if he meant my url, though.
I have not yet monetized. I began in November, but moved, had a December vacation away from home, came home to get settled and found a new day job. Too much going on. Hopefully your life is going at a steady pace!
Google A. ~ You just have to play around with it, clicking on the left side bars until you see what you are interested in seeing. Start with the Realtime ~ Overview. If someone is in your site at that very moment, you can see how many with a very large number showing up. I was greeted with "4" this am!
Move on below this to ~ Locations; then click on Audience. A lot of options show up, choose Demographics ~ Geo ~ Locations. It's fun to see what countries are looking at your site. You can then scroll down to the world map and countries will be highlighted where people live and view your site. Scroll down more and see the countries listed.
Below this you can view all the stats, such as bounce rate. Yesterday I had a 00.00 % Bounce Rate. It's changed today, only a little higher, 2.70%. I started out with 60.00% when I first found the stats. Keep submitting to the Comments thread, until it is rolling along. This is our 'Give and Take' WA, so give a lot!

This is all very helpful. I will go on and follow Paul Goodwin right away. I haven't been posting every post on the comments thread so will get on that straight away.
