Tossing Money out the Window
Have you ever seen someone wad up a $10 dollar bill and just throw it out the window for the sake of entertainment?
What about replacing a toner cartridge in a copy machine and tossing it in the trash? Not exactly the same thing but the principle still applies, it's money we let slip through our fingers.
So what is an answer that will save us money and help protect the environment?
One way is remanufacturing our ink jet and toner cartridges. We might not have many, but even one or two at a time can help out just like picking up pennies, eventually they add up. Or in this case don't add to the land fills that are full of reusable products all ready.
It seems like a lot of trouble, but really it isn't. If you don't feel like you want to send in a couple of cartridges, weather ink jet or toner, there is an answer that can help out someone else. Many non-profit organizations collect cartridges and have agreements with remanufactures to buy them in bulk when they have a nice collection. Some of these are Boy Scout troops, Boys and Girls clubs, YMCA (YWCA) and school activity groups.
Remanufacturing is:
Definitely a win for you, it is a donation and they are always a good thing to do. And also good relations for business owners.
A win for them, it finances the non profit(s) it funds their activities.
A win for our environment. Protect for the future generations.
