1Year with WA, now became “Local Digital Marketing Consultant”. Feeling Awesome!

Hello Friends,

I’m glad to be part of the Wealthy Affiliate community. Since 2017 I have joined WA, my online carrier has been drastically changed. I joined as a newbie and I had no idea about how to do online business but as I went through all the training and mentorship here, now I have successfully started my Digital marketing service here in Singapore.

How I have Started

At the beginning I have realised that, to earn from my website will take a bit longer time. Because to get the traffic to my website, it needs to be rank on the first page of Google and Bing.

So when I attended one of the live training by Mr. Jay, I figure out that from “Local Digital marketing service” I could make some income quickly.

Then I have watched all the training based on “Local Marketing Business” and now I'm practically applying it for my clients.

The skill needed to start a Local Digital Marketing Service

You need to know the following skills,

• Web designing: It would be good if you know how to design Wordpress websites or you can outsource designer from Freelancer or Upwork.
• Web Hosting: You can encourage your client to sign up at WA or you could entitle with any other local hosting provider and host their website.
• Web Maintenance: If they host from WA then you just need to learn very basic thing like how to update the theme, plugin then the other part will be taken care by WA. But if hosting from another platform then you have to learn about adding SSL, protect from Comment Spam, Botnet Attack, Back office Hacking (passwords), Virus and malware etc.
• Local SEO: You have to know the On-page and off-page SEO, Local Citation, Schema mark up, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google My Business, Bing Webmaster Tool etc.
• Paid Advertising: To reach your target customer you can use Google Awards (PPC), Facebook marketing, YouTube advertising etc.
• Social Media: For increase branding awareness you need to know about Google+, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest etc.

How Much Can Earn

Your earnings depend on the customer requirements, how they want to design their website and how many pages and service they want to include, and how fast they want to rank on search engine etc.

So basically there is potential to earn from $1500 - $5000 per client. As per your competition you can charge the price as well.

What is the startup cost

Not require a very high startup cost. Initially you can start from your home and you need a computer/laptop and few software like BrightLocal (for Citation) and Ahrefs or Raven for analysing the competition, ranking etc. If you hosting from different platform then you need to use some other software to provide the Site Protection.

So if you have a laptop or computer, then literally you can start at below $200 budget.

How to get your First Client

At first, just start to check with your relatives, friends or any business owner that you know. Also if you are participating in any charity programme or attending any religious community service then you can check with those members.

You would be amazed that there are a lot of clients just around you, if you smart enough then make some visiting card and just hand over to them and let them know about your service.

In my case, first I got a few clients from my friend circle, so I did the job with some discounted price for them. Which helped me to create my portfolio and got some 5-star reviews which is very helpful to get new clients as well.

Conclusion:

I'm still 1yr old in online business and need to learn a lot. All the credit goes to my God and to WA. Without His grace I can’t do anything. And without the training of WA, I can’t succeed online. So just trust him, trust in yourself, take all the training here, take the steps accordingly and definitely you will succeed.
