Let me Share My experience so far with Wealthy Affiliate University and Affiliate Marketing

I would love to start this post by mentioning that prior to joining wealthy affiliate I had little knowledge on how to create a website, I didn't even know how it works. I love writing and researching but never really know how to write a blog post.

Many times I get to hear motivational speakers say "write down your hobbies, link them up, and form a career out of it" never really knew how that worked out till I tried. Let me share my story

My hobbies and Interests include but not limited to:

• Reading
• Researching
• Helping out
• Fashion
• Looking good,
• Being recognized
• money, yes I won't deny I love money.

When I joined Wealthy affiliate, in the first training Kyle mentioned, a niche can be created out of a hobby, interest, or something you want to learn about, then after my research in that first class I chose the Fashion niche that is a broad topic though and since I'm a male I chose the males fashion niche to be more precise on my site.

At the moment I have an active progressing website and to be honest I am HAPPY with the progress I'm making.

When I started, truly, I was overwhelmed with loads of information to take in my head at a point. Three most important arts to focus on is the

1. Content creation
2. Trainings
3. and then Social media Marketing
4. not to forget website development.

But at the moment as I'm almost 4 months in already, things are not as hard as they are the first month I joined.

My content creation is getting better and more by the day

Following the training steadily and always following the instructions, if there is anything I'm not sure about would ask the question in the live chat section where colleagues here are always willing to help, but if I can't find my answers here, before moving on to the next lesson I will make sure I try several search engines till I get what I'm looking for.

I would not believe I could proudly say I'm a social media marketer, yes adding it to my linkedin account soon, I now have 8 active social networks for my brand, all active and driving their individual traffic to my site. (My first Amazon sales was from Facebook!! earned a commission of 17.84 dollars, first online commission EVER) . Accounts I handle according to how important they are to me are

• Pinterest
• Facebook (two accounts here)
• Google+
• Twitter(Two accounts here)
• Instagram
• Webtalk
• Linkeden

Have not tried YouTube yet but would do soon when I have a good recording device

And on my website development, already telling my friends I'm a web developer, yeah and I'm learning pretty fast and would soon be learning programming and coding on the side

Not to forget my newly found skills

• Graphic Designing
• Affiliate Marketing

To cut the long story short, WEALTHY AFFILIATE IS A UNIVERSITY and ONLINE HERE IS MY CAMPUS AND LECTURE ROOM.

I'm becoming an authority in my niche already offline and online, I'm now called the fashion blogger.

I'm learning new things every day

• while I research on my proposed post,
• while I do my social media marketing,
• while I take the training
• and also while I try to tush up my website.

Every thing should not be about the cash, Wealthy affiliate is not a get-rich-quick scheme it is a detailed structured process that leads to success eventually.

As the traffic you get to your site while you're active on it grows steadily even when you're sleeping (To be honest, got that first sales overnight and saw the notification in the morning!) so would your income potential grows until you become an authority in your space.
