The Los Angeles Lakers

What in the living hell are they doing!!! They have been on fire so far this month with the 8-point lead spanking the Blazers! The Blazers had about 7 turnovers, but the Lakers worked together and came back like fire. If they play the San Antonio Spurs like they did the Blazers, we're in for another win. They are on a "4-game" winning streak! Looking at the stats from the Phoenix game, it's like PHX didn't even eat their Wheaties that morning or they ate them but ate them with whole milk instead of reduced fat. Lakers score 130 vs Phoenix Suns @ 118. Similar result when they played the Toronto Raptors. Man the Lakers have been through a lot over the years, especially after the crushing upset of Kobe Bryant's death, but the Lakers are pulling back through. They are overcoming and based on the scores from the last 4 games, they are going to bounce all the way back.

The Lakers this season feel like a team living in two timelines at once: The LeBron - AD championship window we're still in, and the slow shift toward the next era. What I have noticed is that when LeBron has the ball, they have a tendency to stand around and watch him instead of getting ready for the next shot . Anyways -- my hope for this season is consistency ----- a word I'm not a fan of but I'll get there ----- Hopefully, they will show consistency instead of overpowering the league ----but becoming a team that knows who it is every night. If they all settle into real identity roles and the Lakers can stay healthy, they'll be dangerous. We don't need the Lakers to be just flashy, we need them to be DANGEROUS!!!!
