Have You Tried Bard Yet?

Test Run Of Bard AI

Bard AI

I have explored Bard, GPT and Poe.

It seems that everyone has been testing ways to use GPT to help with their content creation and some with great results.

Diane and Phil have posted numerous helpful articles on different strategies.

The general interest in the AI trend inspired me to check out some of the others.

Poe

Poe is an AI that I tried out on Quora and was somewhat surprised at how well it answers questions.

I see a lot of answers that people submit using Poe that they just copy and paste as is. The answers, overall are fairly decent.

But they include language that specifically tells you that it was created by a language model.

Others cut off the introduction and the conclusion and add there own. Leaving the main body as is.

What does Poe say about itself?

Before it gives you its answer, it states that it may give false answers because its learning doesn't go past 2021.

I would say that I was impressed a bit and I can see the usefulness of this tool.

Bard AI

Bard, if you aren't familiar yet, is Google's answer to the AI tools.

it is still in Beta so you need to join the waiting list for a turn trying it out.

I signed up for the waiting list a few days ago and received my invitation to take it for a spin last night.

Due to time constraints, I had to stop and continue this morning.

I was really getting into it last night so I fell asleep thinking about what I wanted to ask it.

When I got up and got to work, I decided to jump back in.

I opened it up and went to grab my coffee. While I was pouring the cup a thought popped into my head.

I sat down and asked it if it can evaluate my latest article for how it wil rank for Google's SERPs.

Me: Can you evaluate this article (url to latest article) for how it will rank for Google's SERPs?

Bard: Sure, I can help you with that.
The article you linked to is about how to design a blog that people will love and follow. It covers a number of important topics, such as choosing the right topic, creating high-quality content, and promoting your blog.
Overall, I think the article is well-written and informative. It provides helpful tips and advice that can be used by anyone who wants to start or improve their blog.
However, there are a few things that could be improved to make the article more likely to rank well in Google's SERPs.
First, the article could be longer. Google tends to rank longer articles higher than shorter ones. The article you linked to is only about 1,500 words long. It would be helpful to add more information and detail to the article.
Second, the article could use more keywords. Keywords are words or phrases that people use to search for information online. When you include relevant keywords in your content, it helps Google to understand what your article is about and to rank it higher in the SERPs. The article you linked to does include some keywords, but it could use more.
Third, the article could use more internal links. Internal links are links from one page on your website to another page on your website. Google uses internal links to understand the structure of your website and to determine how important each page is. The article you linked to does include a few internal links, but it could use more.
Fourth, the article could use more external links. External links are links from your website to other websites. Google uses external links to understand the quality of your website and to determine how relevant your content is to other websites. The article you linked to does include a few external links, but it could use more.
Overall, I think the article you linked to is a good start. However, there are a few things that could be improved to make it more likely to rank well in Google's SERPs. By following the tips I have provided, you can improve the chances of your blog ranking higher in the search results and attracting more readers.

I didn't ask for the tips but I certainly found them helpful!

Definitely impressed.

My next step will be to explore Bing AI. I received an unsolicited invitation to try it out so ...

If you are interested in those results, let me know and I will do a follow up post.

Thanks for listening,

Stephen
