A New Dawn
Recently I received 2 notifications. The first was that I had come to my one year anniversary here at Wealthy Affiliate. The second was that I had broken the top 200 mark for the second time on my WA journey.
The first was over a month ago but I resisted posting about it because I didn't feel like I had progressed enough to celebrate anything.
"Don't judge your progress by looking at the progress of others."
"Never compare your chapter one to someone else's chapter five."
"Your journey is your journey, theirs is theirs."
"Any step forward can lead to many steps forward."
"Celebrate the little wins...they add up,"
All of these quotes I've read and given as advice to help others and then finally I turned the corner and took my own advice.
My first step was to get back to something that I always loved and that was engaging with you wonderful people here at Wealthy Affiliate!
Soon enough my spirits began to rise and before I knew it I received the notification that I had broken into the 200.
This prompted me to write this post.
My progress is the product of equal parts effort and the guidance that I have received since the very first day that I joined this amazing platform.

Congratulations on reaching 200 rank, and after only one year. Keep up the great work, Stephen. Hope your training is going well. I'm working on the balance between involvement in the WA community, and working on my site. Really tough for me sometimes, and perfectionism in writing my "About Me" post doesn't help, Argh!

I love the training and im planning on going back over from the beginning. I've learned so much that I'm sure that I'll find some things that I didn't grasp before.
I don't think that its possible to ever be "finished" with the About me and I think that thats ok because we are constantly growing.

I'm coming around to that fact. I was a bit lost in the woods but I've found my way back.
I have now experienced the image issue. The one I used was the sun coming up over the city through a chain link fence and what came out was the blah you can see.
I now feel your pain...

Sorry to hear that, Stephen, but I definitely feel your pain, my friend! I cannot even use my noraml signature right now, although, I exported over to my book promo site where it works fine on the couple of posts that I tried it on there.
I'm sure they are rectifying the situation! At least I hope so!
