Do you believe you can or do you believe you can't?

In a book I read several years ago I was given food for thought. The author made the statement, "If you think you can or if you think you can't either way you are right". I went into deep thought for a few minutes realizing he was absolutely correct. People say all the time it's all in your mind, well it really is.

We all go through rough times and periods of doubt, and I have had my share and I believe at least part of someone else's. But one thing I can say is I have always believed in myself even when obstacles were staring me in the face. I had to learn that the power is in me to do and say and be whatever I want and just keep pushing forward.

I came to Wealthy Affiliate a short time ago a little hesitant and guarded. The voice on my left shoulder said it's all a waste of your time, just stay with a sure thing. The voice on my right shoulder gently encouraged me to be outgoing, be friendly and adventurous. Try new and different things. So instead of giving in to doubt and a personal pity party, I went ahead and joined Wealthy Affiliate. Through the tears I reminded myself that I'm a doer, I am worthy of the best and I deserve better than just a job year after year with two weeks vacation.

I enjoy taking long walks along the beach and night and beach parties and doing it often.

The Wealthy Affiliate family has been so awesome and instrumental in helping me get through the required steps and training. When it comes to finding something to write about, finding a niche and content, you really get stretched. When you're challenged or stuck, no matter what time of day or night there seems to be someone there to answer your questions and encourage you. I've been told many times, just keep going don't stop by various members. It's a good feeling. I believe it was Maya Angelou who said, "You might not remember a person's name but you will remember how they made you feel".

On June 30th, 2018 I plan to retire from my job. I am so excited about having more time to use my gifts and talents for a change. I plan to enjoy life to the fullest every day and no longer wait for a two-week vacation.

Now I am happy to say I am approaching the end of level two training. In three months I plan to have a high ranking with a good following in Wealthy Affiliate. At that time I should be able to start getting good affiliate companies to do marketing for. After six months my goal is to begin seeing income from affiliate marketing and look forward to ambassadorship.

And by the way, I THINK I CAN.
