WordPress changed the name in a recent update. Look for Navigation Menu.

Can you further clarify how to get the custom menu back in the widget list?

The Custom Menu widget has been replaced by the Navigation widget which does exactly the same job under a different name.
Okay. I have tried and it works. Thanks. So the video training was outdated. need to be edited to address such small issues. My thoughts...
Perhaps you could send that message to the person who created the video. I'm sure they would appreciate it.
yooo I swear I love you so much ( pun intended ) ... I was stressing over this . Before I can even try it I was writing this post seeing it was so fresh and only 10 days ago . Secondly I put "menu" and kept seeing the one you suggested pop up . So thank you sooo much
