Hello World!
Here I am on Wealthy Affiliate. The website is incredibly intuitive and I'm really excited to get started. I'm a little nervous about becoming a premium member, because I'm not yet sure how much time I'll be able to put into this, but at least I have a week to decide before the price increases! I'd love to hear advice from any of the more experienced Wealthy Affiliates out there! Thanks everyone!

I'd start doing the free training and see how that goes. If you get more than half way through by the end of the week and you can keep up the pace, go premium. if it's taking you longer you may want to stay i the free membership till you complete the level and go premium when your ready. This will also give you some idea if you enjoy the work. Keep in mind when you go premium you will no longer be eligible for free membership.
:) thanks for the advice! I was actually just telling someone that I wish I'd been more strategic in choosing when to sign up for the trial as it is a busy week and I haven't been able to take advantage of as much as I'd like :) I will say I genuinely enjoy being a part of this community and I know that building a site that can reach others is important to me. I've tried on my own and have not been very successful, but so love that it seems like this community gives you all the tools you need! :)

I was just recently invited to follow you and I accepted.
Joining something new and perhaps even something out of our 'Comfort Zone' can be daunting. You have been here since January 15, 2017 and my goodness, your progress is far geater than mine (I have been here since May, 2016).
If you can...take this entire 'price thing' out of your perspective as a barrier that may hold you back. You are correct though about the the 'time thing' and 'how much you can put' into this.
I, like you, and probably the most, joined on the FREE Program. WOW, it was awesome. Then, if we took action within a certain time period, we could all access 'The Premium' aspect of the program for only $19.00. As you have said..."No Brainer."
Then a new month starts. That is why I bring up 'The Time Thing.'
I am a very 'Slow Starter,' have always been but I always seem to get to the finish line before most that are coming out of the gates running.
I am a firm believer and advocate of education. I was recently thinking about going back to school to get a BBA degree in accounting (I am almost 60 years old). My father, no longer with us went back to school at age 57 to fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor of Alternative Medicine. (More as my site develops).
He left me with the thought and idealogy that "It is never too late to get started on today what you should have started yesterday.'
But a BBA undergadute degree was going to cost me about 60K minimum at my local university. OUCH!
Just like you, I came upon WAU while searching. And just like you, went through the trials to make sure it was the right thing for me.
Ultimately, when it came to making a decision moving forward I took it upon myself to invest in myself and my new future..."The Internet of Things."
Long story short, I am a yearly member @ $359.00 per year. I have the time to build my future at my own pace. I can get about 85 years of education and learning here at Wealthy Affiliate University for the price of a 4 year undergratuate program.
I know it's not the same, but I think you get what I mean.
So, in summary, the cost of an education here at Wealthy Affiliate University should be in eveyone's eyes what you call a 'No Brainer.'

Your message is inspiring! It really never is too late to go back to school :) I am currently working on my MBA as well.
I've learned so much from Wealthy Affiliate and have completed the trainings offered, now I have to figure out how to find all of the additional trainings I want, because I'm sue it all exists on this site!
