Yay for traffic!
I've been trying really hard to make some significant positive changes to my website, taking the advice of several mentors I've met here at WA. I'm using a new form of SEO, my writing has significantly improved, I've learned how to use a couple social networks more effectively, and I'm seeing the benefits of this in the form of increased traffic. I am on track to reach almost 450 unique visitors this month.
My next task is to create more pages for my site, as I have plenty of posts now. I want to create constant, informative articles that remain relatively static and can continue to rank in the future. They will be keyword-rich, and have a lot of really, really awesome information for my readers. I am hoping to start working on these pages today, but it's going to be a really tough, time consuming process. I have to do a TON of research for these pages, and I will have to look up a ton of other information to supplement it, all while maintaining quality (and lighthearted) writing.
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped me thus far. I can't possibly name you all, but a few people who have really helped me out are CraigOS, bmontes, my referrer, of course, (John), Dougbeney, and so many more.
I plan to be making at least $2,000 a month by the end of this year. That will allow me to move out with my girlfriend and become independent. Any more I get after that will allow us to move to the northwest, and travel a bit! :)

Congratulations and keep up your good work :) I notice that when you add consistent post, your ranking and traffic will certainly go up. The more post, the merrier :)

I will! Thanks :) As I said in my post, I couldn't possibly name everyone that's helped me so far, but you're one of those people. You gave me some great advice, and you're an awesome guy to talk to. Also, your youtube videos are funny and interesting. So yeah.

Glad I could help you and that you like some of my stuff as well :-) I'm also impressed you managed to significantly lower your Bounce Rate. Was there a specific thing you did to accomplish that? Bounce Rate is an issue on my own site that I struggle with
Filtering out fake referral traffic (People who want you to click on their fake links in your GA report) made about a 10% difference, but the rest was accomplished through rearranging my media on some of my posts to be above the fold (So users can see something interesting right away), and getting rid of any other stuff that users might find annoying (Oddly aligned images, videos not being spread out along the article, etc.)
That is good advice. I try spreading out both. I honestly think my main issue is I do a poor job of showcasing other posts I've done (I don't have recent or most popular posts showing anywhere). I do think that would make a significant difference
