just as I began to gear up for WA again, my dear friend with Alzheimer's went into a spiral of paranoia and intense need. Apologies to those here who wondered where I went, and just to let you know that despite her extreme fear of being taken out of her home of over 40 years, my friend is now settled in aged care where she is loved and admired for her wormth, intelligence and smile. After the "episode" to be greeted with the broadest arms held out for a hug and "MY FRIEND" is such reassurance that I handled her crisis with all the love and care I could muster. Tha tis the Real Gold I seek in all my relationships :)
