So what does it mean to have no sales going on 1.5 years? I MUST be doing something wrong because the realistic expectations you listed has NOT been my experience so far. Guess that’s why it’s been said that 95% fail. I’m hoping to be in the 5% club.

Getting traffic is the #1 issue that we all share. People not finding our site = no revenue.
95% fail? 5% success? I'm not sure whether this data is correct. Wealthy Affiliate training guides us to write content that is index and ranked in the search engines.
If your website does not receivve traffic then you may like to revisit the training again.

I will never work at a trad job again! I put all of me into me and not into making someone else's business successful. Not knowing what the next month will be financially can be hard but you have to find a way to make it work. I made my first monies within a couple of months. It does happen.

Not realistic I should say. But from my experience as a very beginner joining Wealthy Affiliate . My first Affiliate sales happened on the third month. Some would argue that they have not been making a single sales after one year. It really depends.

Yes, I did. Before reaching the mark of 1 year, I've earned nearly upto a thousand in commission through Wealthy Affiliate referral program. While going through the training, I focused on promoting Wealthy Affiliate.
Those who don't see the results is simply because they are focused on too many things or they are not taking actions and applying what they are learning from WA. They are inconsistent learners and marketers.

This is so true, Paul. When I had the time to work on my website continually, it was bringing in some good side income. Then, life hit, and I am just getting back into revamping, training, etc.. Affiliate marketing can work. We just need to be vigilant! I appreciate your share:)
