Don't lose sight of the road ahead

Another training session complete.

In the last few weeks I have been so busy with my copywriting business and my 'real' job, that I have ignored building my Affiliate website. I suppose I should expect times like this and not get worried. Because, if I am moving forward somewhere then I am moving forward.

I now have two tech stock updates and my new tech area Crypto Currencies to write about, and I have no time!

So what you say, well that is precisely the attitude I am taking. I will get there. However, I do need to be a little more focused.

Where does the time go? I do admit I flit to one thing and another, but I have my ultimate goals

And, I must say there are a few great people out there who have helped me. They probably don’t even know it. This community is the best. These are the stand out people so far, and I want to thank you.

It has been a long and enjoyable journey. I have spent a lot of money to get to where I am, and I am just starting to reach customers. It took longer than I expected.

Now after reaching the point of doubting myself and not having one paying customer for months and months, I have now started to reap my rewards with a stream of small customers! Long it may continue.

I have had to put up with ridicule from people closest to me. It stings. It stings badly.
“Why don’t you just go get a proper job?” was a mantra from someone very close.

The reason! I have a dream, and this is the right time for me to pursue it.

If you know it and believe it, DO IT!

DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM. It may take you a year or many years longer than you think. However, eventually you will start to get there, and you will smile, probably to yourself.

TREAT YOURSELF. You will remember that smile and treat yourself with every little success. I had an expensive bottle of red, well over three nights. Every time I took a sip, I smiled inwardly.

• Finally, leave my part-time job to spend more time on the above two.
  

My current part-time laboratory job is a way to bring in money to pay the bills. And, that is exactly the point. It gives me time to pursue my dream.

I am lucky in a sense that the Managing Director knows I am building a business, and I think wishes me well. He even gives me a few tips. Although he wants me to work five days a week and I am now down to three.

However, I perform well at work and give him more results than he expects. This is what is required in both my copywriting business and the affiliate market space. You need to deliver. Above all, you need to knuckle down and provide more than expected on every single job.

SO my final thought is just this.
