Your site always opens to your posts which represent your blog. All the things to the right of your posts really are your menu for other things on the site. Your blog posts are defined by "categories" which should also appear to the right of .everyblog - you set up the categories and indicate which blog post goes into which category. If you go to a page, and then "quick edit" you will see to the right the term "parent" this is how you add pages under a menu heading. I don't think the forms let you do that for your blog post because there is no "parent" option for them. Just put each post into a category and people should be able to sort through them.
