My first blog post on WA
Hello y’all,
These first few words belong to a series of billions I will be sharing with this unique, unbelievable community. It’s true that this comes as a request from a training, but then, the result remains; I’m sharing my first blog (Hurrah).
I don’t know about you, but whenever I start a new venture (like this Wealthy Affiliate lifetime journey), I’m always full of expectations. I’m very excited, yet, my beliefs are mixed. It’s a mixture of anxiety and confidence; fear and audacity. I both believe it can work out great for me, and at the same, I know that they are no guarantees in life. The mixture of these thoughts have always been a lifetime struggle. As I joined WA, I kind of came on board with a little of that old mindset.
However, this has been changing, due too much personal (spiritual work) efforts. If there’s something I learned last 2 years ago is, my life needs to be a constant learning process. Learning and process, those two words are what have shifted my paradigm into a more confident, less worrying, fearful life.
Both words (learning; process) are what I found here on WA, and that’s why I’m sure that I have come to WA to stay. I’m going nowhere folks. I may not be consistent, I will make mistakes, I may be the slowest member among us all. But one thing is sure, I will never give up, instead, I will grow up.
It’s true that the learning resources and process just keeps on evolving on WA. But then, that’s even what gives WA an A+. I mean, life isn’t static right, it’s constantly evolving. I bet that Kyle and Carson never imagined empowering this diverse amount of people all over the world. Remember, they started just with keywords as the core of their proposition value. Now see today…
I also noticed that WA keeps records of everything, the old and the new. By that I mean you get the knowledge from the old stuff, updates and new stuff. Maybe some old training are deleted; is it the case older members?
Anyway, one of the first training I took on SEO techniques here on WA kind of worried me. And that’s the mixed feeling I’m talking about, worried and confident at the same (Hahaha). I mean the training was published in 2013 and lots have changed visa-à-visa of SEO since then. Atfirst, I was scared; telling myself “can I be learning the wrong stuff?”.
Two good news came out from this. First, I immediately went to the live chat. I presented my difficulty there, and in less than 5 mins I was directed to a live webinar training of May 2019 that brought me up to speed. Awesome!!!
More to that, looking at this in another angle, I realize that this old facts could also help. Some people are just so interested in the history or genesis of things (events or situations). I mean, you surely know some folks who like telling the genesis of a story before hitting on the climax. With the enormous bank of training and info here on WA, story tellers, you got served.
To summarize and close up this first blog of mine, I will say this.
Learning in life and following any life process can be two key factors in determining one’s future. The truth is, no one can ever really predict the future. Yet, knowledge acquired through learning and walking gradually through a process can for sure expose you to all you need to have the future you hope for.
For those of us here who believe in God, we understand that even spiritually you need to learn about the word of God and pass through a process to grow in faith. We all need knowledge and development. Both are obtained via learning and accepting the process.
With that said, I call onto all of us newbies (and the older ones as well) to believe in learning with WA, and saying yes to its process.
With all my most sincere regards.
Stay blessed.
Patrick.

Awesome first post Patrick!
I also realized the world keeps changing. I started creating and selling my own products a few years ago thinking I'd have complete control over things. Expected it would be different than a web development / IT background that was constantly evolving and at times drove me nuts. But the market kept changing, small business changed, other changes took place in the world and I also had to change. You can't escape change, but you can embrace it as inevitable and good in its own way.
Best of luck on you journey here!
Thanks very much. Indeed change is the only constant thing in life. We sometimes underestimate the effect of change or refuse to accept. Learning to adapt to change is paramount.
Wish you all the best as well.
Cheers

Patrick that was a great post. However, I don't think you will be the slowest member, I am. Just too busy to sit and focus. That's ok, I am slowly building in a routine, up an hour earlier for this work and trying to build it up to more time. However, it's summer here in Ontario, Canada. I love the outdoors!
Like you, I am relatively new and this experience is exciting. I can't imagine giving up. The support and training as you say are unbelievable.
Keep up the faith and we will both get were we want to go!
Wanda
Thanks for the support, Wanda. Indeed we are going to make it happen. Let's keep the faith and believing in us, in WA.
Cheers.
