What I have learned at Wealthy Affiliate
I have a blog going and I thought I could earn some income with that site by becoming an affiliate of Amazon. However, not so easy. Because it had a .me address and is hosted at Wordpress, It is essentially frozen. I can't add plug ins or change anything else except to blog on it.
I was searching for someplace to learn about affiliate marketing. I was lucky to come across Wa. In the month I have been here I have learned how to add plug ins including SEO plugins. I have a viable website although still in the baby stages. I have learned how to search for keywords, what keywords are and how to use them. Google authorship, Google Webmaster tools and much to my joy Google Analytics. Believe me what I have learned is not limited to the things I have listed here.
This has been made an even more interesting experience by the wonderful support I get from the community. Ask a question and it shall be resolved. A bit of magic like having a wish fulfilled.
All in all, I am so pleased with what I have learned that today I have signed up for a year with all of you. Thank you all for your support and great attitudes.
After I signed up for a year with WA I discovered that Carson and Kyle had been working on a way to get us all noticed on Google. Must have been quite a feat of programming. Another perk for being a member of Wealthy Affiliate.

Like you I had been searching for the right place to be, WA is such a great place, no pressure, no BS, just a great environment.
Also like you I have found that everyone who is able too will offer help and support and answer all those silly questions (the one's you think are silly) without putting you down for asking. The understanding attitude of the community is beyond measure as a value. It is indeed a home from home!

Glad you were able to take the plunge. Yes some of us are lifers. I think I'm paid up through the end of next year already. Don't worry, if people put up with me I'm sure you will do fine.

Great post. WA absolutely rocks. I wish I had known about WA in the beginning stages of my affiliate marketing journey. As soon as I peeked around & saw the training & benefits of WA, I literally went Premium in about 5 minutes. Doesn't get much better.
As much as I was anxious to go Premium, I wanted to squeak every day I could out of that $19.00 month.
Hi, Patricia! We joined WA on the very same day. I hope you feel very proud of yourself (as I do of myself) for having accomplished so much in such a short period of time. it's been a whirlwind month or so, that's for sure -- learning, applying, and tweaking. I'm also very excited about the "new learning" and "beneficial changes" Carson and Kyle have in store for us.

I am counting on it. Needed to do a year to make sure I gave myself a chance to succeed in this. It must be paying it's way for some people because they stay and stay.

It has taken me all of this time to find a proper Wordpress Theme.
Am still not really happy with mine. There are so many to choose from but they are not organized to make it simpler to select the one that fits. Visual experience is key to UX and traffic.
While writing on the blog, I would take time to find the theme that did what I wanted it to do. I didn't want to pay for a theme but it had to be able to show my pictures on the blog, have 2 columns, content on the left, It had to have a white background and so forth. What a nightmare of a search. Now to get back to the writing.
