Nifty Little Plug In
It does not slide out until the reader reaches the end of an article they are reading. The author says that it will help visitors to read more content on your site. I have been using it for around a week now and decided that I like it.
I have uploaded a picture but it doesn't seem too visible.
It is called "The Slide" by Simple Reach.

I just thought I'd add a link to a recent classic example: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/everything-wordpress/should-i-be-worried R. x
Ah, my dear friend Chris! He is even more adventuresome than I am. His site is great though. Thank you for watching over us. Do i have to get rid of it? :(
LOL, as I'm sure you realised this is not my *first* time with Chris, the last one cost money to sort out as he had to upgrade to a premium version of the plug-in to get it to continue working in the way he wanted. Joking aside, which I've thoroughly enjoyed, thank you, that last plug-in he installed which was diverting clicks to a foreign site could do immense harm to his site's rankings over the long term if he hadn't noticed something odd was happening. Thanks, I am glad you are still smiling (I think). I realize that that link could have been a serious problem for him in rankings eventually. He has otherwise done a wonderful job with the site.
If you are window *shopping* always check the right hand side panel http://d.pr/i/RiZ0 which can give you some valuable insights. When was it last updated? In the last three months? How many times has it been downloaded? 1,000,000+ is always a good sign! Check the reviews. What are other users saying? Is the developer responding to support questions, ie. in The Slide's case, 0 out of 5 questions have been answered in the last few months. :( You should also download and install P3 http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/p3-profiler/ and turn it on to check that a new plug-in isn't a huge resource hog, impacting the performance of your site. In extreme cases, WAU hosting may need to disable a site that is putting an unfair load on the shared servers.

I did download the plug in you recommended and ran it. The Slide does not seem to be taking up much time. I don't shop for plugins but saw this on a site and thought it might be helpful. I am getting a lot of spam but, no conversions as of yet. I decided that I am not "asking for the order" so to speak. So, I am trying to ramp up my site a bit.
No probs. I'm overcautious having had to fix innumerable plug-in crashes for people. I'm also very wary on behalf of Starter Members as there's no support or FTP access to siterubix sites, so often a dodgy plug-in trashing a site is completely irreversible. They have to delete their site and start again. :( Rich. x
Hey Patricia.
You need to be exceptionally careful when *shopping* for plugins. WordPress is opensource and anyone can upload and share any kind of dodgy theme or plugin. I've seen ones that hijack traffic, add adult *entertainment* to posts, lock people out of their sites permanently, etc.
Always take a backup of your site before installing a new theme or plugin. The Slide for example, looks like it's abandonware, the developer hasn't updated it in the last year. If that's the case, an update of another plug-in, your theme or Wordpress itself could cause your site to act strangely or crash.
Caveat Emptor! :)

I looked through your website. I think it's a great little tool. I'll bet it does exactly as they say re: getting people to read more.
