Misinformation

I went to one of my sites, and found an evaluation by another site that gave my site a bad review. The positive comments section was disabled, but there were three negative comments on the site. One was the domain not being found on ALEXA rankings, another was stating that the site was probably offline but the entity admitted that it had not checked the site, and the final comment stated that the domain had expired in Dec 2014. This is the first time that I've had this domain, but someone must have had it previously. Anyway, I thought I would share this with the community. I now know why this one site has done poorly. Have a wonderful day everyone. Pablo

Please enable the positive comments again if you can and share the link. Otherwise this needs to be reported. This is strange.

I agree. Pretty bizarre.

Get that positive comments section enabled and let us know where to go to give you some positive feedback.

Thank you very much, Bill. I appreciate the support.

I've never heard of anything to equal that. If that person is not spamming they are wasting their time. They need something to occupy their mind. Perhaps tell them about WA!!

I agree with you Valerie. Thank you

They may have been spam?

I would send screenshots and all this informaton to SiteSupport. They can see what we can't and trace where it came from.
It could be fake Pablo.

Why was your positive comments section disabled?
Mention this to SiteSupport!

Thank you for the information Patsy. I will do so.

I hope they were fake, I have heard of fake comments and fake sign ups so why not reviews.

If you haven't done so yet, get SiteSupport to enable your positive comments for you. The should not be set to disable, this is how fake stuff gets through.

I hope it works out :)

Thank you Patsy

It will all work out! Keep us posted!

What is your website like btw?

Thank you. My web site is promoting wealthy affiliate. I will keep you posted.

http://whoisrequest.com/history/ will drill down to this!

Just tried that, and it says that it hasn't recorded anything about my domain yet, so I figure I'm fine on that one.

Thank you Mike

I love paying back a loyal friend Pablo!

Did you check with Whois dot net? You can look up who the owner is there. Did you register it after 2014 date indicated it expired? Also, if your contact information is not correct or needed updating possibly it came for renewal and you missed it? I don't know...I would not think it would be available for you to register if someone else had it, like others said. Have you checked with the registrar that you registered the domain name with to see what is going on?

I have not checked anything yet but I will. It came as a surprise to me and I thought I would share with the members to let them know about this situation that I've never seen before.

OK, Pablo, I also agree with PatsyS and ValerieJoy, I think it sounds like it could be someone spamming Ya! I hope you get it straightened out soon!

Thank you for all the suggestions. Will keep you posted

It is well if you can to check domain history on your sites

If this was on the WA training, then I must have missed that part.

Wow, I hope you can sort this out!

Me too. Thank you

Sucks, I wonder how you could check this out before you register a domain

That's a great question. This is the first time that I have encountered this.

I thought that once a domain was available, one should be OK, and not go through Google's archives to see who had it 10 years ago :(

I thought so too James, perhaps some of our more experienced members can chime in on this.

That was also my thought
