I am in the process of adding Google Authorship on my website. Can I use my Google Plus pages to set it up or am I restricted to my Google Plus page only?

You should use your google+ profile (personal profile) to set up authorship. Your Google+ business page is used for something different that's not as important as the authorship. Your personal profile should be the one with your name that you can access directly from your Gmail account by clicking on +yourname, then going to 'profile'.

"Make sure a byline containing your name appears on each page of your content (for example, "By Steven Levy").
Make sure your byline name matches the name on your Google+ profile."

My byline does not match the name on my Google profile. How do I go around this issue?

By 'byline', they just mean that you need to have something on every page that has your name as it appears on your google+ profile. The byline is the sentence you put it it. For example, "MyName (linked to google+ profile) is a professional blogger....." or "MyWebsite.Com is owned by MyName. She blogs about...."

Some people do +MyName, and other's just link to Google+ using anything. From what it sounds like, Google wants you do to +MyName, but I have seen it work with other stuff too.

BTW, the way to get this on every page is to put it in a footer or sidebar widget so that it appears everywhere. If you put it on one page, your authorship will only be verified for this page.

I know that's a lot of gibberish - let me know if you understand it :)

I think I have understood the gist of what you've said. But, just to be clear, do you mean that I don't have to use my official name on the byline as long as my Google plus name appears either in a footer or side bar widget?

What is the best format for writing a good product review without sounding like your main intention is to sell? What should be included or avoided? Please share these tips with me

Kyle's included some great info. in Lesson 9 of Bootcamp Phase 2 on writing reviews.

Also, don't forget to check sites such as Amazon, where customers leave their own reviews of products, you can often see if there's common points of praise or complaint.

Kyle, I have gone through lesson 9 of Boot camp Phase 2. It is very informative, thank you. I have often shied away from doing product reviews. I don't have any excuse now. :)

Hi,

1. To begin, if you have the product, write what is good about the product. Why do you like it. If the product has any dimensions, specifications etc., include them as part of the review.
2. Then, write about the things you do not like about it (the bad).
3. Conclude with why you purchased it or are considering to purchase it.
4. At the bottom of the article, include your call to action button or link to buy at Amazon or your affiliate that sells the product.
5. I would include a image of the product at the top of the page so the visitors will see it.
