Store or Not Confused !
Hey There; I am one month in WA today and it has been a fantastic journey for me. I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be able to do the things that I can now do and am still learning new things every day.
When I joined this wonderful community I was as green as a cabbage and very inexperienced and also did not know where I was going. I mean I knew what my niche was and I do know a bit about it. I want to sell my product which is jewellery and this is where my problem arises.
I was a few days in to the training and building my site when I realised that affiliate marketing is what WA is really all about and that my vision of having a store was not really going to work because of the set up here at WA. So i changed direction and maybe I am wrong in my perception of things and I signed up to a lot of jewellery programmes and was accepted into most of them.
Now I am finding out as I move on(I am in Progress Course 4 lesson 7)that I have to many advertising widgets on my site. I am confused now because I cannot have many links on my site and I cannot advertise other jewellery shops on my site because google will not like it.There is no point in me just having a few products in this niche as I feel it will not work but with all the restrictions being imposed it seems all I can do is just have a few.I do have my own source for jewellery which is an excellent and very competitive source and my plan was to put these on my site here in WA as I would need shopping carts and checkouts etc, I have not come across training here for this and I do understand now why that is. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing I cannot say
I would love to get other views on this but please be mindful of my inexperience and I hope I am making sense and not causing confusion.

When it comes to promoting anything, just remember that relevant converts. If I am on your Black Diamonds page, it is highly unlikely that I am interested in a random "ad" on the side of your page, rather I want information on black diamonds and ultimately, I might be very interested in purchasing Black Diamonds.

Your promotions should be inline with your actual page.
You should also set up the All in One SEO plugin because your page names should not be /194 like they are. This indicates that this plugin is not set-up.
Also, avoid overuse of bold within your content. Bold text is very difficult to read and I would avoid using it at all if you can. When you bold something, it's intended purpose is to stand out from the rest of your text and it should be used very sparingly.

I know people here that have put up stores on their Wa-sites, and are selling their own products. It can be done, some of them will for sure come forward and guide you in the reight direction. An other solution is to sell your jewellery on ebay, review your own product on your site and link it to your ebay account. Not sure how that works, but know people that do it. There are many other solutions out there, so don't worry (be happy) :-))

I reviewed your web pages and found a few spelling and grammar issues. I had the same problem early on and a friend here on WA suggested I install a free app called "Grammarly" that will review your grammar as you write. This may be a good tool for you to use as well.. Just go to www.grammarly.com and install the free version. See how you like it and copy and paste your web pages into a word processing document such as word and grammarly will underline any errors it finds. Please let me know if you find this a helpful hint. I found some places where you used the same word twice in a row and various other grammar issues. If you have problems finding them let me know and I will review for you again. (one was on the Emerald section where you mention the dates for Taurus. "May" should be capitalized. Also you have a "period" after one of your titles at the top, "BRACELETS.") I enjoyed reading the information you provide and am looking forward to seeing what you show for December which is my birth month.

Thanks for that Paula nd I will do as you say. I am having loads of issues with my computer, site and wi-fi at the moment and an kind of frustrated and a bit fed up. But look I am still going to get it right eventually. Thank you for your comments and help.
