Life gets in the way sometimes

As we all know, life gets in the way. Sometimes it’s a good thing, other times it isn’t.

I have been away for at least a month; I haven’t even made any new posts on my website L

I feel really bad, but there is good news behind my absence.

But before I get to the news, let me explain why I was away for so long.

My last update on my website was just over a month ago, May 6 to be exact. I uploaded a video tutorial on how to defeat some of the beginner monsters in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. During this time though, I was in a demanding class. (In case none of you knew, I am currently enrolled in University of Phoenix, working towards a bachelor’s degree of Information System Security.) This class in particular required extra studying. On top of the more study time, work started becoming more demanding. They are very concerned with numbers. They want to see how much I do, more is better obviously, but they aren’t looking at what I am actually doing. It’s quite annoying actually. You see, I work on the help desk in the IT department. People come to me for their IT related questions or problems. I am the only IT person in the area I work. I am stationed at a remote location, about 40 miles away from the headquarters. In my area, I have to assist over 100 users, alone. They are on me all the time, wondering how much work I am actually doing.

Anyway, this post isn’t about complaining about work.

Instead, in my absence, I have still been coming up with content for my website. Several new things have come up for me to post.

I have missed this community, and will continue to strive toward my goal!

My YouTube channel is growing, but my website has not. I need to work on both things to get where I want to be!
