Holidays! Make some happy and some sad

The holidays are here and not a minute to spare. People rushing here and there.. I hope its joyous for everyone. I wish you all the best of the new year !. May 2019 be a prosperous one for sure.

Sometimes we are sad at this time of year, people leaving us, or passing on and some of us are lonely or dealing with tragic situations. Dealing with many tragitys in my life and I always try to still look for anything positive in life. Maybe its my way of protecting my heart.

This past couple of months I had a family crisis and lost my mother inlaw. Its a hard time for us it happened quite fast. I still can't believe she is gone. Now, I have left my work on WA on the back burner. I could barely function helping my father in law, which he is so lost after a 50 year marriage.

My greif and exhaustion from taking care of my father inlaw has had me on the back burner here, I am trying to put one foot in front of the other. I will say nothing prepares you for adding new responsiblitys in that you didn't realize were here already. No matter how you do prepare sometimes your never really ready.

The Holidays makes some happy and some sad, but we still need to work through it and get back in the saddle. Today is a good day and taking one day at a time, I hope tomorrow is too.
