Have you ever thought of owning your life?

Well it is possible if you learn the secret. Inside of you is a far greater person than what you realise, the challenge is to discover that GREATNESS.

I believe that every journey, adventure or SUCCESS story starts with the first step and it does not matter how big or how small, what matters is that you take ACTION and take that first step. Without action nothing will happen.

Procrastination is the single biggest killer of a Business or Success! You can have the best business plan and plan how to implement and what to do, but without ACTION, nothing will happen. I is like having a map to Treasure Island and plan everything carefully and thoroughly, the food, water, vehicles, fuel, even the spades to dig it up and the people to do the digging, but you postpone the departure date every day. Until you take action the best plan in the world is like not having a plan at all.

Bite by Bite is the only way to eat an Elephant. If you look at the whole picture and you are new, it looks like an Elephant in front of you and how do you eat an Elephant? Bite by Bite! If you learn the secret of breaking anything you start, into bite size chunks, then anything is possible to accomplish. If you try to swallow the whole Elephant, you might choke and die! It looks far more difficult that it is. I can hear the voices out there saying, “It is easy for you to say that, but it looks impossible to me”. Aand yes, that is what it seems like to everyone until someone else does it. The question you should ask, "has it been done before?"

It brings me to the story of Sir Roger Bannister, the first man to run a mile in under four minutes. Up until he did it in 1954, most people thought the four-minute mark was impossible to break. They thought the human body couldn’t physically go that fast, it would collapse or explode under the pressure. No-one could run a mile in less than four minutes. It was impossible. You were crazy to even try.

That was, until Bannister proofed everyone wrong and just 46 days later, Landy beat his time. Today schoolboys does it.

What changed the belief system, someone else has taken the first step, to proof that it can be done. We need to feed on each other’s success.

Inconsistency is the next big obstacle to building a successful business. If you start you have to be consistent until you succeed. You can re-plan, make adjustment on the journey, but keep on keeping on day after day until the job is done. If you stop and then start again, you might have to start from scratch. It is like launching a rocket into orbit. The hardest work and 80% of the fuel is used to get the rocket of the ground and into orbit in the stratosphere. If at any time during the launch, you stop the engines, the rocket falls back and crash! The consequence, you have to rebuild and refuel the rocket, then start the whole process all over and launch again. You have now depleted a lot of resources that you cannot recover to use again. Business is the same, the fuel and the rocket is represented by people, energy and momentum from around us. New people are like spectators that observe until they start seeing the bigger picture. If they observe the crash, they tend to disappear and never return for another crash.

Whatever you want to do or accomplish, start by taking The First Step, break it down into Bite size chunks and feed on the accomplishments of people before you. Don’t stop until the Job is done.
