Once I had decided I wanted a theme with all the bells and whistles, I went straight for it, paid my dues and proceeded to update my new site.
Whoa! It was not as easy as I thought. For a start, I couldn't seem to even change to the new theme and support even said they couldn't help. But I persevered and I did get the Customizr Theme loaded.
Then I tried to learn how to change things with the documentation provided. It was very slow going, as I had no experience with half the terminology used. But slowly things came to light in my brain and the site started to slowly make progress.

Because all this has been going on, I have not been working on my lessons. I decided right then and there that since I am changing the theme I better learn how to run it well and then I will go back to the lessons.
I think my greatest fear was that I had probably bit off more than my brain would absorb but it is slowly coming. As I learn I am taking notes so that if the next website is this theme at least I will have less of a learning curve.
I would say I did take two steps backwards taking this theme on, but in the end hopefully I will be more satisfied with what I have. The one step forward... was my learning curve!
