Looking for Comment buddies! Experience required:
Good Sunday my Lovelies!
I love sitecomments, but as some of you know... it's quite time-consuming.
I think that there are enough of us 'experienced comment gurus' to start a comment buddy group!
Here's what I want to see...
I comment on your article with a high quality, topic-focused, on target comment (you know, the kind of comment that someone who was looking for that particular information would leave). I then leave a 'check out my recent article' link so you can respond in kind to the exact link I need comments. (You must comment back! Failure to do so will have you dismissed as a buddy)
Avoid competing article placement. If you commented on an article reviewing a product that sends the reader to amazon, PLEASE do NOT place a link to your review that also sends people to amazon.
DO: if you leave a comment on a review of wealthy affiliate, leave a link to your article that teaches better content writing, or how to be a consistent blogger.. or that above referenced review of a product...
Do not take away from the original article.
We could work on the 'rules' for comment buddies in the comments below.
I'd like to become buddies with other bloggers of similar and different blog niches than mine. Similar so we can help each other with ideas as well... and different so that I'm not always reading the same stuff:)
Help me write the rules and join me in a rapid comment fest for our blogs!
Please comment below your interest.
Thanks:)
-Nicki
P.S. I'd really like this to come off as Blogging friends that encourage each other and seem to 'subscribe' to each others blogs... if you catch my drift:)

Hi, in my opinion, it seems like a good idea in theory but I think too many rules will drag you down on this.
If I am understanding this properly, I have heard it isn't a good practice for people to leave links to their articles on your site.
The other thing I don't understand is that if one person has an article or review that is promoting an item from amazon then nobody else can submit an article that is promoting an amazon item? I don't get that.
There is someone else that I sometimes trade comments with and he just sends me a PM saying he has a new post if I have the time to comment and I do the same if I have something new.
Leaving an Amazon review link on someone else's Amazon review would not be acceptable. I'm working on the rules now, and have already thought of forgoing the link in comment. Thank you for kinda reinforcing my thoughts:)
Well, as stated above, nobody would be leaving links anywhere on anyone's site but to clarify, if you are promoting an iPhone and I am promoting a refrigerator, I'm not seeing that to be a conflict of interest.
Anyway, thanks but I'm not interested.
Thank you all for commenting! Does anyone have anything they believe should be added to the rules?
Hi Nicki, I am always up for collaboration. I do not consider myself a guru but will help if I can. I do believe that the power of WA has got some great potential in a number of areas, comments being just one. Unfortunately the members are somewhat reticent when it comes to collaboration.

I spend a ton of time on site comments, two for one is twice the effort. lol I'm hoping a few people will be serious about quality reciprocation.
I am going to set up a WA Interact group on Google + for those people that would like to share such things as site comments, resources, a guest blogging etc would you be interested?
Adding our own rules for commenting can distract from what Kyle and Carson have put in place. I would be interested to see how it works for you.
Simply put, I love the idea. I have had a pretty good circle of friends I made here where we all comment on each other's stuff, though I have been absent for a month.
I'm still pretty new here, but I am making friends too. I just want to have a place where many of us can enjoy commenting rather than it being a bit like work itself:)

I have found that using the SiteComments has been very effective and may be a better way to leaving and asking for comments. On everyone of my comment requests, I have received way more than what I have asked for. Meaning, I may ask for 1 and receive 4 or 5.
I have had that happen a few times, but mostly I just get the amount I asked for. The problem is that there are still people commenting that are really leaving feedback, or a totally unusable comment.
