Amazon closed my account!
UGH... Yes they closed my account and the 70 dollars I would of mad is no longer going to be made. I guess it was because I don't have enough content on my site yet. I don't know what constitutes enough content but I only have lik 9 or 10 posts so far so I guess they are right.
Yes i'm a little upset and discouraged BUT this isn't going to stop me. Just created a new one and i'm going to work twice as hard on adding more content to my site! Guess I should have waited to strart advertising on FB untill I had more content on my site buit lesson learned.
If this has happened to anyone else please let me know? I want to know how much content is enough so I don't make the same mistakem Maybe 20 or 30 posts? I don't know. Just need some ideas if anyone has any for me.

Amazon is not a nice partner to publishers. They have one of the shortest cookies (just 24 hours), lowest commission rates, and they have no problem removing you from the program because you didn't make enough sales fast enough.
Choose other merchants. They won't treat you like this!
Sorry that happened to you. Don't give up even though you are discouraged. I read yesterday that you can sign back up pretty much any time. I don't know how true that is, but your plan to wait a bit, might be a good way to go.

Amazon did close my account, but thats because I didn't do any sales and was Pre WA. Now I am here, i have re~opened it and so far everythings fine, including sales

Thank you! I called and they said I need to beef up my content a little bit and I will be ok when they reviewed my site I only had 5. I have 10 now and plan on writting more so I'll be good I believe.
That is really bizarre as they accept affiliate sites with far less content and usually the size of your site doesn't really matter when you actually have sales. Did they just give 'not enough content' as the reason for closing your account?
They said lack of content which is original to your site and pages are mostly empy when advertisements are removed..
I think they must have tightened their rules, as Joe says. I would just reapply in a while once you have added more content.
Yea I just talked to them and they said it was the number of posts. So they said just beef up my content and I will be good. Glad I got that clarified. Thanks for all the help guys and gals! I know what I need to do now!
Don't be discouraged. I never heard Amazon closed account for not having enough content. I believe they are more stringent nowadays compared to when they closed my account a few years ago ( I am using my wife's account now LOL). If you are creating a new account, do it right this time.

Try to have enough content or if you want to start monetize it straight away, do not over-do it. In the beginning, create more content than your promotion. Be seen to help others. Write more product. reviews.

I think they sometimes close accounts that don’t make enough sales/revenue. If I don’t do something soon, they may close mine soon.
Thing is I made over 70$ in commission from using fb to advertise.... They said it's because there is lack of content which is original to your site and beneficial to readers. I don't know what that means though. Everything I've written is original.
Wow! I don’t know then. I have got emails before about sales but never content. That’s strange. Sorry to hear that buddy.
I am not quite sure if Amazon does close any account just because of low content quantity.
What I do know is that there is a huge possibility you did not get the image that they provide for the article inside your affiliates link rather than from google or somewhere else that Google does not approve.

I believe if that was the reason Amazon closed your account, don't start all over the site. Keep creating content and re-apply later. Enough content is pretty subjective. Just get more content (20-30 great posts) and if you can build the site with great content you don't have to worry as monetisation will be handy regardless of which affiliate program you join.
