Progress Report and How I Found My Niche

Well WA family first off and foremost a BIG HELLO YA'LL from Texas! Here it is Feb. 1, 2019 already and January just seemed to fly by to quickly, but within the month I was able to write good content and stay focused working each day and putting in the hours building out my site. I will have to say I am feeling a self accomplishment thus far even if I have'nt made a sale yet, hanging in there is the key and I know it is just a matter of time before it pays off.

I was really pleased to Google my site and found it at the top of the page and 8 of my post titles were also on the same page right below my site, one after another as I scrolled down the page. It was like I had the whole first page to myself, no actally I did have the whole first page to myself out of 14,100 other pages, I know thats not a high number but still good. Never had a feeling like that before, gave me the chills, you know those chills you get when something awesome happens and you feel good? Yeah like that!

Wish I could share the recorded video of the Google page, but I know we are not suppose to promote our sites within the community.

My niche may be something far different from others within the WA community or maybe not. Who knows? The way I came accross this niche was from reading a article from Forbes magazine and what caught my eye was " Now it stands as a $15 billion market segment, with projections that it will surpass the $50 billion mark by 2020. Huh? I thought to myself, I know people that are consultants with a company that sells simliar products. So, thats when I started my due diligence and learning more of what I needed to know. I have some knowledge of the certain products, but needed more. I reached out to the consultants I knew was able to get all the information I needed and any help if I need it.

So if you are new and having trouble finding your niche, don't rush it because you do not want to get into something and then a month from now lose your drive and motivation. I started back in Dec. 2018 which is really not that long ago and it took me a little time to figure out what my niche was going to be until I came across that Forbes article.

Just make sure you have some knowledge of what you are about to get into, don't rely on simply the money prodictions that are forecasted for certain products until you do some research first. Luckly for me I already knew a few consultants that are in a simlar business and they were kindly able to share with me what they earn each month.

I am still going through the training and not rushing it and there is always a purpose with each task. One thing to remember is to never lose focus and do not start something half-way and then start another site, so I have been told.

With hard work, Comes high rewards!!!
