So I became a grandma on the 25th of September. Theodore Armand weighed 8 lbs 5 1/2 oz. My heart has been stolen forever. He is healthy happy and loud as I'll get out. I know all grandparents out there know the feeling. All the joy and none of the work and exhaustion. Just awesome!
To all the moms out there in WA land, have a Happy Mother's Day!Here's wishing all of you have a great time with ALL of the special ladies in your life. Some women are pseudo moms, being fantastic aunts, expectant moms, wonderful childminders ... even selfless nuns. This is the best revenue day for restaurants in the year so having reservations is a wise move. Does anyone know how it came about? Was it really created by the greeting card people?
It would great to hear experiences about Amazon selling. Having your own products seems like it would be ideal, however, is it tough for a newbie? There is the advantage of a greater commission, less people competing with you on a product even to the point where you have a monopoly. Of course you can interact much better with your customer giving you the opportunity to show them how much you care about their satisfaction.I often wondered how they came up with so many goods and why the counts
I find I get bored with having grey hair and I hope someday the grey will reach silver. If anyone has a product they use as to how to get nice silvery hair, let me know! My salt and pepper is okay. Sometimes we just need change to get a boost. This colour is called blue steel.I love turquoise. I think it would be fun now that I don't have to worry about what conservative clients might think. So is this blog far enough away from talking about business? ...lol...Just typing what was on my mind!
Ooppss ... too slow ... I wanted to wish Penelope a happy 7th b-day but missed by a couple of minutes. She is pretty much my age now.Just wanted to drop a note to say thank you to those who have been helping me get back up to snuff. Re reading some of my favourite inspirational blogs and training by just a few my heros (there are many here) such as Rob, Loes, Tony, Stephanie, Kyle, David, Mark, Debbi, Nathaniell, Marion, Steve, Deirdrie, Carson, Scott and the list goes on. You know who you a
I can't believe how much time has lapsed since my last blog. Last fall I was caught up in some non-WA activities plus dealing with my son's cancer. He had surgery to remove it in one place, however, it resurfaced elsewhere. We are just waiting now for the results of the second surgery. The bright side is this son has informed me his is going to make me a grandma this fall. It was the kick in the butt I needed to get back in the saddle. I don't recommend leaving WA for any length of time if
We lost a couple of aunts, both about 90 in the last couple of days..Sad but they had awesome lives and I just noticed that being away from here now just that bit of time is like going from months of straight day shifts onto midnight shifts..Hope everyone is doing well and sorry to those who asked me questions and I didn't respond. I am getting to you now!
Something is eerie. I have not been able to talk to anyone for hours. So is there anyone out there ? I was stuck at 206 for 2 days and now have been stuck at 189 for 2 days so possibly my laptop is saying 'please retire me and get a new one....I'm ssoooo old and tired, Narda....have pity on me'. Just a quick hey from one person so I feel wanted or at least know I am connected to WA would be awesome! Love you all!
No one need respond to this. I am one of those people who counts in their head 24/7. Before I get up I have to imagine the steps to the washroom. I have to brush my teeth 3 minutes exactly...the 3 minute workout. Yes, 180 brush strokes. I have to chew my food 32 times. My showers are timed - I can be in and out in 8 minutes as I refuse to waste water despite not having to pay for it right now. Count down the 480 seconds in my head without even trying...like it's pre-programmed. That inclu
