Goals, Goals and More Goals
I am now 23 days into my non-financial goals list. I am still short on numbers 3 and 4 of the ten day goals. Most of my 30 day goals will be done this week. I have decided to post pone the top to bottom house cleaning until new flooring is installed. My daughter gave me the wonderful Mother's Day gift of doing a lot of basic and needed cleaning on Mother's Day while I was making my niece's prom dress. Finished the dress late just this past Saturday night (whew). Made it to level 3 on training here at WA. Need to write a blog post for assignment. I haven't even thought about bookkeeping yet.
Now for the newest endeavor. . . yes I added another iron to my fire. Silly me. What am I thinking? I am thinking long term that's what. So here it is. My former business landlord and friend has obtained her broker's license in real estate and bought out her partner in the business. She would like me to become a real estate agent in her business. As I cannot afford the classes you have to take prior to taking the licensing exam, we have worked out a deal. She is going to pay for all my classes, testing, and license! In exchange I am going to build the business website (here at WA of course), organize her files, arrange open houses and manage the social media for the business while I am taking the courses. After I get my license we will negotiate the terms of my participation in the business. I am both excited and nervous. This is a business I have been interested in for years but not ever pursued it because of the cost.
This will be a part-time endeavor until the business grows so I will continue my secretary job, as I love that as well, and my sewing business which is also part-time and has peak and off seasons. So obtaining my real estate agent license is getting added to the six month goals.
I am thinking June 3rd and 4th for my garage sale so that can get crossed off the list too. If all goes well here at WA maybe I can get down to one iron in my fire eventually.

The next 10 days.
- To be caught up on all my sewing customer projects. (DONE)
- Write 5 posts for nannelson.com (DONE)
- Write 3 posts for Part-Time Proprietor (I have two topics in mind)
- Write 2 posts for Nelson Sewing (two ideas in mind)
- Plant seedlings (DONE)
- Plant garden (DONE)
The next 30 days.
- Make Leann’s Prom Dress (DONE)
- Prepare room for Brian (DONE)
- Move Brian Home (This Thursday)
- Clean my house top to bottom. (started and postponed to 6 month goals)
- Complete the Level 1-5 training at WA (currently at level 3)
- Catch up all bookkeeping
- Hold a garage sale (June 3 & 4)
The next 6 months.
- Complete the WA training and fully develop all my sites to make money
- Obtain my real estate agent license.
- Develop and sell patterns for sewing sites
- Develop and complete online sewing course
- Install new flooring in the house (flooring is purchased)
- Clean my house top to bottom.
The next year.
- Develop my own products for each of my websites
- Write my book
- Have a fabulous Christmas
- Learn graphic design
