Thanks very much for this information, Muslimah.
About five hours ago something strange and scary occurred while I was working on my website. I was using the Chrome browser. I quickly shut down the laptop and rebooted the WiFi and it came right. I hadn't read your post at that stage. So, I've just found that my reading was not as high as it needed to be. But, I was able to reset it to the scale you provide.
I greatly appreciate your advice. If I have a reoccurrence of today's event at least it won't be so scary!
Valerie

I stopped using Chrome a long time ago because of all the issues and weirdness.
Right now the safest and most secure browsers are Opera and Brave. Brave is built on top of Chrome but it's much safer and it's blockchain-friendly with an extension for crypto wallets called Metamask. I have one and it's very easy to use.
Opera has its own free built-in VPN. I pay for one. No one should be browsing online or doing anything online (especially building websites) without an active VPN.
Google Chrome is like swiss cheese, it's full of holes.
Thank you for the information, Wendy.
