Believe it or not: You can delete youself from the Internet
Some people are paranoid, some simply cautious. If you're in the second group, you'll think twice about the new program created by two Swedish programmers. It's called Deseat me
As you can see, deseat.me is all about removing all records about yourself from the web. With this website you can delete your online presence with just a few clicks.
The program runs on your computer, rather than deseat's servers. In addition, it uses Google's security protocol, meaning it doesn't get access to your log in information.
How it works?
The program asks for your email address and password to scan all the sites you've signed up in the past.
Than it checks all the websites you've signed up until the present moment and asks if you'd like to get rid of them or unsubscribe.
It's up to you to decide whether you want to delete suggested subscriptions or affiliations.
Although deseat.me is fairly limited at the moment - It works only with major sites such as Gmail, Facebook or Evernote - you can make yourself disappear from all sites that keep bugging you.
