May 2025: The progress continues

This was not a great month for the blog or social media. But a good month for the business.
The blog moved upward ever so slowly. 8900 page view vs 8400 the previous month.
Amazon sales were a little higher this month than last, but not a record. It was the most items I ever sold (76 vs 66), but not the highest sales total (6700 vs 8000) and not the highest commission. Also, haven't received an offer for a new Creator Rewards bonus for July yet, so income from Amazon may be good next month but not after that.
But the good news is, I have a client that I am doing sponsored posts for, and I got my first check! I am sending them another invoice for $1000 tomorrow. This will continue for another month. Hoping this will turn into a more permanent gig, but it's a great infusion into the business.
From the cash, I bought a month of ahrefs and screaming frog. Ahrefs is a general SEO tool. Screaming Frog is an SEO audit tool. Because of the way Ahrefs scans websites, it's almost useless for analysis. So for now I wasted $40. Screaming Frog, on the other hand, can be adjusted so that it doesn't trigger WAs spam tools. So it was worth it.
What does June look like? Hold down the fort on the website. Try to update old posts, try to keep up the two posts a day publishing, and get another Pinterest queue moving.
At the same time, there's a new idea. An SEO agency. I am slowly building my new website. I have 190 posts ready to go. And I am applying to Upwork.
I also revived my 16 TB NAS and thinking about buying an AI PC and deep dive into the world of AI automation.
So May 2025 may be pivotal in my business, and 2025 certainly has. There is no doubt I have earned every penny back that I put into WA (and elsewhere).
Now, let's grow a business!
