I was approved for google adsense but noticed a yahoo ad, which I didn't apply for. Do you know how to apply with Yahoo and Bing for paid ads on a website? it is not very profi

Thank you. Also, where can I learn how to customize adsense to make it more profitable? I currently have it set to the default, but was curious if there are more suitable options to generate more money like CPC. TYIA

Hi Mary,

Years ago I had applied for Adsense on my YouTube channel. For years nothing happened until my subs and views started to increase. That is when Google contacted me to fill in my bank account info. As soon as I did that they deposited money into it.

The point is to focus on doing the tasks that drives viewers to your content. Only then Ad program will pay off. Also make sure you don't have any missing info like I did.

Does this make any sense?

I hope you're taking advantage of the OEC, Bootcamp and the Premium classes every Friday evening. Jay gave several on Google Adsense. You can do a search to find them.

Kyle also gives a Premium class on the first Monday each month. He gave one on September 5 on PPC that you can find in the classes archives. I wouldn't pay for ads yet. But it's worth seeing the logic behind PPC.

You can also enter a query by clicking the Eyeglass icon at the top. Out will pop articles and answers written by others that could answer your question.

Sorry I couldn't give you a definitive answer. Please let me know what you find.

All the best to you Mary.

Edwin

Good Question. I’m not sure about Yahoo Ads. I’ll check into this and Google Ads and get back to you. Edwin

Hi there, does anyone know how to save a photo from WA without a post? I created a post and forgot to upload the photo I liked. Thank you!

You can edit a published (or draft) blog post as many times as you like. This includes adding an image to it.

Click cogwheel top of blog post, edit and add the image. Save changes.

Hi Mary,
I’d like to paraphrase your question first to make sure I understand it exactly. Do you want to create an image folder within WA where you can use these photos later?

You can create one or more dummy posts in your WA Blog. You can use these to save images, ideas, related for future posts, results of your keyword research etc. Give these dummy posts titles related to your data. Just don’t publish them.

Is this what you were looking to do? I’d like to know.

Cheers.

Edwin

Thanks I figured it out. I use Canva for most of my pictures, but WA had one that Canva didn't.

Go to the WA authoring tool. Create a new post and give it the title Picture File. Click your cursor within the post at the top of the window. Then click the photos icon in the navigation menu at the top.

You will have the option of either downloading a picture from the image database or uploading your own photo to the page. Select the second option and upload your photo stored on your computer. It will appear in your post.

Save it. Do not publish it.

Whenever you wish to save photos on WA, return to this template and repeat the above process.

I hope this helps.

Cheers!

Edwin

Great tip, I love it, a way to store photos, not on the computer!

You can create a dummy post and save the picture there without publishing it. Does this help?
Edwin

If you are referring to an image that resides in Site Content
you can find the image and right click on it to save it to your PC and then upload it or drag and drop it into your website media library (add new image).

Otherwise if photo exists on your pc already it must be in jpeg (png of gmp) format then you can drag and drop it to your website wordpress media library (add new)

Why not just edit the post and add the image?

How do I add WA banner to only one post not entire website?

You can add it in your post content or create another wordpress block and add it there.

here's what the code will look like.

You may want to add within the post itself.

On a mobile, sidebars will be bottom anyway.
