Running and walking for exercise
When it comes to getting Exercise, I use to run &Jog all the time, But now at 72 I'm walking the most, Still not walking as much as I should# Its hard to make yourself Exercise like you are supposed to, After working all day, The kind of work I do keeps me in check, I think setting at a desk 1/2 the day isn't the right kind of workout, But working WA# everyday is good for the fingers and brain, I still like to jump down and do pushups now and again,
How about everyone here at wealth affiliate#, Do you do a daily exercise with out WA#, Just getting out for a walk a few times Aweek well help your brain, Give you something to wright about, Things you might see# hear or walk over HA HA!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your week#

I have been aiming for walking an hour a day, but will increase that to 2-3 hours a day now. Because I work online I sit most of the time. I also need to stand more during that time. I just need to commit to it and actually do it.

Great Mel#, Thats is my problem on my down time, setting to long, I just get myself up and get out and walk about a mile, just need to do it more, THANK for your replyπ
Good to see that you are still walking some! I try to walk no less than 3 times/week and I do some other type of exercises, like gentle yoga or tai chi the other days. As someone who suffers from chronic pain/chronic illness, I have found that if you stop moving, it all gets worse. What people that suffer like I do or older people need to remember is that trying to do hard-core workouts are NOT going to work for us and can not only hurt us but creates a whole cycle of "not 'working out' because that was painfully awful" to not moving at all. And, when we stop moving, well.....everything stops....our bodies don't function well, our brains don't function well, and our mental health takes a nose dive.
Great reminder that we have to keep moving!
Glad to hear your still exercising Cwoolfolk, Thats great# keep moving, Thank you for your replyπ
As someone who's coming from a holistic sports background among other things you're doing it right. There's a reason why walking is the tried and true. Mobility is the most important part of our being that has to be maintained. Keep moving everyday! Focus on what brings you joy to get your body going. That's all that matters.

Yes I love it.. You have to if you want to make it part of your lifestyle.
I work out for 2 hours on MWF at the Planet Fitness, and play golf on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
I look at it like this, I can dedicate at least 4-6 hours out of a 168 hour week to take care of my body.
Plus I feel good... Also what you eat makes a difference, when I gave up eating beef and pork, I noticed
the increased energy.
You only have 1 body, take cere of it like you take care of your car...ππ

Hi Timothy!
Great that you find the time to walk! It is importance that we engage in some form of exercise each day. Our health depends on it. I walk each day for about an hour. I live close to the city so I walk to most places to get the things I need. I appreciate the share.
Have an awesome day! Wishing you the very best!
Kind regards,
Nichola
