With so much going on in today's society. It is extremely important to take time for self care. Regardless, if you're the bread maker of the family or an at home parent. Just like our physical body needs a detox. Our mind also needs a moment to detox from environmental influences.
Many say that it is important to take a vacation at least once or twice a year. This is good, yet not limited to helping you personally in self care. Sometimes taking a vacation can add some anxiety from traveling, expenses and just dealing with family when out and about. It's been times when my family and I go on vacation and when returning home it seems like I still need rest do to the activities and supporting your family while on vacation. Having fun on the beach, participating in excursions and hiking can be soothing, yet it can be exhausting as well.
So, How Can I Self Care When at Home or On Vacation?
Did you know, you can self care by just taking a solo walk before the family awaken, meditation in a quiet room and setting at the beach without any distractions just to clear your mind and reset before the daily activities.
Without self care it can cause one to have extreme anxiety, fatigue and personal frustrations throughout your day. Taking time for self care helps you to help others. To give a 100% of yourself you will have to be mentally and physically charged to give that energy to loved ones, friends and people you meet in your daily journey. All it takes is being mindful of your mental and physical state at all times and addressing your energy when needed.
Your are Important and Needed. Self Care is the key to staying ready to avoid getting ready.
