I have been struggling with lack of focus for a while. Part of it was deciding exactly what I wanted my website to be. Another part was learning new things, but not applying it, due to SOS(Shiny Object Syndome). Trying to multi-task too much also did not help. I found two online tools that are helping me be a lot more productive. Anything I need to learn about right now goes in one area. Things such as PPC have their own area. That way I don't waste time learning something that I don't need to know yet. That leaves me with time to get things time.
Here are some tools I found.
One site is workflowy.com. It is sorta of like an advanced notepad. It's free to a point. Many of you won't need the paid version for a while. Workflowly also has an app and you can pick up where you left off on your phone.
Another similar product is evernote. That one is also free to start with. I think this one has a desktop version, but I did not download it. I have not really gotten into it yet, but after a few minutes of testing things I think it will be useful.
Another tool is Canva.com, which is also free. You can use it to make banners, create pdf's online do other things. This last one is more for creating graphical designs for those of us with less artistic talent, but I figured I may as well include it.
I am sure some of you already know about these, but for the rest, look into them.
