So, my first website is indexed. I took the advice and stopped looking at the notification, and there it was!

I feel a little like Robert Redford in the movie "The Candidate" right after he wins the election, he turns to his campaign manager and asks, "What do we do now?"

I'm so glad that here at Wealthy Affiliate there is training, help, and so many people with so much insight to help out.
