Although 2016 is nine days old, I still want to take the time to wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year! I hadn't been an active member of WA for quite a while...taking a "leave of absence," so to speak. First off, I was becoming a bit discouraged with my online business because I had yet to make any money and was debating whether or not to continue...needless to say that I had no desire to blog or work on my website for a few weeks. After I resolved to remain a WA member my laptop bega
I haven't been to active on my website for the last three days - again - my laptop is having issues. I was told it has something to do with the motherboard. My poor baby is going to have to be repaired. In the meantime, I am going to do some research and invest in another home computer in the near future.Does anyone have any recommendations?
A few days ago I wrote a blog entitled "What I Appreciate About Wealthy Affiliate." The point of the blog was to thank the WA owners, Kyle and Carson, for creating this company that so people have the opportunity to join, without pressure, and benefit from everything that WA has to offer. Unfortunately, when trying to explain my sentiments, I was also remembering the different business opportunity meetings and some of the programs I've joined, the time and money wasted, the disappointment, tha
One of the first things I noticed when I joined Wealthy Affiliate is that the owners, Kyle and Carson, don't go on and on about how much money they earn with Wealthy Affiliate on any given month, week, etc. In fact, no one really does, that I've seen. A member who has made his/her first sale or has had a particularly good month, financially, will share this information, but just enough to encourage the rest of us - it's not rubbed in our faces. This is something I really appreciate. I am
This blog has nothing to do with Wealthy Affiliate, but Many of you may already be aware of these types of scams, but I want to share this anyway.....Unfortunately, over the years, I accumulated some debt (that I am not proud of) and have been paying off gradually, however, I had received a few calls from so-called debt collection companies that somehow acquired certain bits of personal information (i.e. the last 4 digits of my social security number, a former employer, telephone number...).I k
I wasn't so sure I would say this, but I am actually beginning to enjoy writing more each day. I mentioned in one of my previous blogs that the idea of writing and coming up with things to write about was too overwhelming and stressful. Thanks to Nathaniell's blog about the 500 word essay and the outline that he demonstrated, it only reminded me that this was something I used to enjoy doing in school - I loved writing compositions and book reports (believe it or not) and got my best grades i
in the shop, and there was no internet service at the library this past Saturday and today the computers are very slow. I think today I will review past lessons in Bootcamp. The whole point of working from home is to WORK FROM HOME. LOL
So, it is the day after Labor Day, and my poor laptop is still not working. In addition to an annoying virus, some part has to be ordered and installed so it will be another 3-5 days before I will be reunited with my baby! I nearly panicked at first and thought "OMG! I just recommitted myself to working harder & making this business work, I've got my juices flowing, and now this!" Then my fiance calmy said, "You can work at the library like you did on Saturday." Duh...why didn't I think
