My Web Site
Hi all, I'm really confused and maybe a bit unsure about this whole WA program. My site is about diabetes http://thediabetesaffect.com I was told that people would not purchase any products through my web site if I use the amazon, wealthy affilliate, total diabetes and forex banners because my site is only about diabetes and if anyone visits the site, diabetes is their only concern. This tells me that I don't have a hope in making money online from my site. This tells me that the only chance I have of making anything is if I do another site about an online business so I can promote other products as well as wealthy affilliates recruits. Please tell me if this is the case. Please leave me comments on my site, Thanks to everyone.

As you Know Roy I have been involved in the Diabetes Niche for some time , I have thoroughly researched this Niche and intend to start a website in the same niche, tere are numeraous sub niches in the diabetes World just go into shops and look for products that are diabetic friendly in England they are just catching on that every third person that walks through their Doors is a diabetic and is looking for DBF products and in some ares are having a hard time you could become an affiliate for one of these large specialist offline stores, handled properly there is a fortune to be made in this are and you will be doing a lot of good for Diabetics make your self an expert and become a millionaire perhaps not overnight but eventualy you will have the potential to.

Hi Roy,
The Diabetes Niche is not a narrow one as some believe any one who makes a comment like that obviously knows nothing of the problem In The USA last year over 210 Billion was spent in the diabetic market it is probably the largest Sub Niche in the healthcare Niche 2 out of every 5 people in The states are either Type 1 or Type 2 or are in the stages of onset diabetes it is of epidemic proportions and is certainly under serviced both in Offline and online facilities.
So whoever's been telling you its not a viable proposition for a website is talking a load of BS and Obviously has not ever researched the market Your Site is great and will be with the right SEO an earner for you just keep people interest and engage them they will buy from you once you have built trust and you should have learned how to do that here Don't lose your enthusiasm you'll be OK mate.

First off let me say that your site looks good and the 2 posts I read seem to me right to the point. However, on "Lose Weight When You Are A Diabetic" you left me hanging at the end. Your post ended without giving me a "what to do now" or "where to go next". Meaning that you should add something that guides the visitor to where you want him to go. Naturally a place where he will buy a product you suggest.
And yes, you can money within your niche. Like Kyle always says. "Become an authority". Listing what pharma ads saying (like warning about side effects and so on) is not enough. Talk to your visitors like someone who has firsthand knowledge of a certain product and why/how they should buy and take it.
You may not be able to get your visitors to join WA, but you should be able to entice them to hit your links and buy the product.
You will be doing ok then.

I see you have a diabetes supply company on your site. Are they affiliates? Are there books regarding diets for diabetes you can affiliate with? I am a newbie, but still have to disagree that you aren't able to make money with this site. What about adsense or PPC? I don't know much about either at this point but know I have seen sites for heart health and weight loss or cosmetic surgery that have these ads. I will be interested to read other members comments on this. What about an ebook that you charge money for that helps people understand diabetes if they are newly diagnosed, etc?
Have you taken course 3 in Getting Started? I think this reviews PPC, Clickbank and Adense. I am just starting it, so don't want to say something that isn't correct.

Movinon, I was going to contribute something, but when I saw what merryman88 just below here wrote ...it blew my mind and the best I can say is "you won't find better advice" so follow on Ray Bowley foot steps ...he seems to know where from he speaks, my good friend.
Thanks
