WA does not control our websites. We control them.

I thought you have enough experience to know that all your activity, blogs, participation on discussion an help questions, courses is controlled by an activity software, like google does, and based on this you get ranked in WA. All informations regarding your followers, their questions etc also, so WA (the software) has a profile of your activities. That's all. Perhaps this is sometimes frightening, but the privacy police of WA does guarantee your privacy. If you have any doubts about this, online in general and IM is the wrong place for you.

WA has a double role:
Giving you all the informations through reactive courses to create an online business from scratch to your first success and if you want further on;
WA is also a community of more experienced online entrepreneurs and newbies. There is a useful and informative exchange of skills and knowledge.
Always something added new:
The internet marketing business evaluates rapidly and if WA would not add and inform you about new tools, technologies and strategies, this would be a reason for me to quit. This business is a lifelong learning business.
Writing articles: It's for sure that article writing don't have anymore the same importance, but it is still a method to get traffic and more important authority in your niche.
Total control: Even if you're hosted at WA, there is really no control over your website(s). Being ranked at google, bing or yahoo is a very complicated algorithmic operation. It's true that here at WA you only will be trained on the basics of SEO, because this is a high qualified specialized profession. And what would be the aims for WA to control your site. They will only be successful with the success of their members, thats why WA is not a one day fly.
Success: WA is NOT the place where high income is promised, but one thing is for sure, if you finish all the Courses, you will be in a better position to have a decent income with IM. But unfortunately a lot of people, even here at WA, don't have the patience to go through the Courses and do all the tasks asked.

Hi, I have been with WA for a month now. In the 4 weeks I have created a website, learned how to get it ranked in google (SEO) and have already finished the first 2 courses and the first bootcamp course. If you pace yourself and are able to spend a bit of time on WA then my opinion is that you will do extremely well. If you have a particular question to continue your training, please feel free to ask me and if I do not know the answer I will locate it for you. Rich

I remember when I came here I had that exact same question the first month or so, and It took me a good two websites to figure out just what blogging was and why it was needed.

This topic has come up so many times lately with all the new members, and sometimes we who understand how it works forget what it was like when we got here.

As far as article writing goes, write on your site and skip writing over at Street Articles.

Writing for an article directory was in the past a great way to get quality back links, or links that point back to your site.

Google used to use them in the ranking of your site, but does not anymore.

Don't waste your time with street articles instead devote your efforts to filling your website with content. WA provides training and advice but you control your business...it's up to you to make it profitable.

Because your writing content on your website, I think the street articles are more to get you to write creatively and to get your name published as they are attached to your writing and your website. It is also meant to get you to think about topics whether niche related or not, but it could potentially be another idea for a future website.

Hello there. I just joined WA too. I think doing the WA is just like setting up a store. Of course, there are your customers and competitors. But what's good about WA is they'll already provide you with a capital. Yes, a capital to make your own website for free, and to make us internet-market literate. Then it's up to us now how will we make our own 'store' unique and popular. How? By being creative with our sites,i.e., appropriate themes, and advertising it to the world, i.e., posting it to facebook etc.
Well, that's my perception about WA. So, If you agree with me, then together, let's go to infinity... and beyond!

WA provides the training and tools and support to be successful. The rest is up to you. I've been here not very long. Went through all the training (Premium) in 2 weeks. Got a good website built...but I need now to promote it to get the traffic! You must take advantage of all of the teaching tools and resources here! If I can help you, PM me.
