Man... working with other people can be qiute a challenge.Even if you have a system for doing so. Just so you know I am a courier. I work with a local delivery service. Sometimes I work seven days a week. As simple as the concept of picking up items at one address and dropping an item(s) off at another address, we still have issues.
The other day I was on time and all my parts got to the right store and to the right people,so I thought. I left that store with complete confidence- all is good! Yes!!! The customers were happy and so was I. That was yetserday. This morning I get to work and my manager was telling me that that exact same customer called and said they did get the items in question. She asked who did I give the items to? After giving her a generic description of who this person was, they finally contacted the right person and they agreed, yes they did receive the items in qurestion.
Yes I did everything correct and still there was drama.

So what are you supposed to do in that particular scnerio? No matter if all goes correct or all falls apart, I still have to remember a few key items
1) Follow the plan as closely as possible.
2) Never assume others are on the same page as you. Even if all parties verify in writing and sign in triplicate.
3) If you have done your part keep your cool and answer all their radundant questions as nice as possible.
4) None of us are perfect no matter how detailed we feel we are.
